Day 48 (The finale)

Image
This is our last post for this storyline. We are chatting about continuing the story while we seek a publisher or some other means to get it out there in the world. The three of us would like to thank you for tuning in and following this saga. It meant the world us and we hope that it added some silliness during this crazy period in our lives. Look for us to return in October with an all-new horror story! Stay safe. The Dorks

Day 47

Day 47. It's really been a blast working with Marty Kelley and Russ Cox on the story. All told there is enough work here to fill a small graphic novel. Before bidding you all adieu, I realized we needed a little more Mongolian. In my final contribution I give you everyone's favorite 13th-century warrior and uniter of most of China and Central Asia; Ghengis Khan aka Chinngis Khan. So,"Khan" Russ Cox take my parting peroration and give the Dorks the exquisite closure it deserves. Tune in tomorrow. Arigato goziamasu!

Day 44. And there is so much more. Marty Kelley has made things interesting for our young heroine. Her invention has cleaned up the air, made world peace, and has reintroduced 8 track tape back into modern society. Personally, I prefer vinyl, but that's a discussion for another day. 40 years into the future and our leading lady is being asked by Madame Mouse President to help save the world from something else. Something so devious that only the enlightened mind of Russ Cox will be able to conjure something up by Monday. Take it away Russ!

Day 41. Russ Cox and Marty Kelley have given this story a real feeling of 80's nostalgia. So why not build upon that. All I know is the car they designed pulls at my heartstrings. When I was a kid growing up in the '60s there was this show on TV called Supercar. It didn't last many seasons, not many shows did back then, but the car in the show was spectacular. Especially to me, a nine-year-old, who could name every make and model of cars on the highway. The moment I laid eyes on Supercar I fell in love. I even tried to build a replica in my parent's basement. It could fly, it could dive underwater, and go into outer space! I used to dream of owning one when I grew up. I also used to dream that by the time I reached the age I am now I would be commanding my own starship somewhere in the outer reaches of the Milky Way. That never happened. But, I could still dream, right?

Day 38 and it's not too late for me to change the direction of this exquisite eulogy of Dorkian proportions. Marty Kelley sure knows how to hand off a gem of an idea. After his post yesterday I couldn't sleep thinking of where I was going to take it. I was thinking dinosaurs and velociraptors to go along with smoldering volcanos but we needed something totally out of left field, well, at least something out of deep center (Baseball analogy for those of you who miss the game). I know Russ Cox has big plans for tomorrow. Take it away Russ!

Day 35

Day 35 of the Dorks. That means five full weeks of this Dorkalious dissertation exquisitely evolved every day by my audacious authorator associates Marty Kelley and Sir Russ Cox. Take it away Russ!

Day 32. We let the cat out of the bag. Actually, Russ Cox put the cat in the Catty Wagon previously and took him away. Now with Marty Kelley's genius twist, we see Mama Luigi and Mr. Gottlieb were in cahoots. As always when you have two nefarious figures one of them has to go. Looks like Mama Luigi is cooking up something other than pasta. I think I've been binging on Ozark a little too much.

Day 29

Day 29 of the Dorkalicious delicacy delivered daily (well almost daily) exquisitely by  Russ Cox ,  Marty Kelley ,  and sometimes moi. Give us a like even if you are a silent observer. It’ll make us feel wanted, even if we’re nonessential:-)
